Being a 100% Filipino owned coffee shop, Figaro Coffee Company expanded their line of beverages by adding tea products. Their latest tea flavors is made naturally from herbal plants that is common here in the Philippines and really good for the health. I had the chance to try all four new flavors and at the last part of this post I’ll be sharing which will be probably my usual order if ever I drop by in Figaro to have my warm cup of tea.
Figaro Sambong Blend. It’s common among Filipinos to have colds due to sudden change of weather. And a warm cup of Sambong tea can be at help to ease clog nose, headaches and sneezing that comes with colds. It can also cure kidney stones where it helps the person go to the wash room and secretes toxins and excess salts in the body that cause urinary problem. The Sambong leaves were dried perfectly for every tea bag and mixed with fragrant basil and lemon flavors to make it more enticing and relaxing to drink especially on a stressful afternoon at work that gives us migraine.

Being a meticulous and obsessive compulsive person when it comes to what I eat or drink, I am very particular with what’s in it or how it was prepared. That is why Starbucks with their However-You-Want-It Frappuccino Blended Beverage gives me that enjoyment on how I can personalize or experiment with my drink the way I wanted it to be. The Starbucks However-You-Want-It Frappuccino Blended Beverage campaign is letting their costumers tailor or create their own drinks by choosing from the variety of fresh milks or soy, choose the intensity of their coffee and pick any combination of syrups or toppings. 50% of women in the Philippines are prone to suffer osteoporosis and other bone related diseases due to lack of calcium intake. For others it is because of monthly periods and pregnancy affects the percentage of calcium in the bones, same thing happen during menopause, which lessens the production of estrogen, the hormone that protects the bones. At the early age of 25, some are showing the early signs of osteoporosis that can still be prevented by proper intake of Calcium daily which is rich in Anlene product.

And then there was Oishi…
It was last March 16 when Oishi products were delivered here in the office. A big red Oishi paper bag that contains Oishi Ridges, Martys Vegetarian Cracklin’, Pillows, Bread Pan, Wafu, and Baconette Strips and a box containing 24 bottles of assorted Smart C+ drinks (orange crush, lemon squeeze and pomelo-grapefruit).

With his active lifestyle and big followers as a veteran actor, Gabby Concepcion became the newest brand ambassador of Sustagen Premium. Sustagen Premium is an adult drink manufactured by Mead Johnsons and one of the Sustagen product line. In line with Gabby's introduction as endorser, Sustagen Premium also launched the campaign in challenging the adult Filipinos to take the body age challenge. According to the report gathered by Sustagen, there are 7 out of 10 Filipino adults have bodies that aged faster than their actual age because of unhealthy living and stress.

In line with the opening of the Year of the Metal Rabbit last February 3, Kraft Foods Philippines introduces another breakthrough in their Tang beverages. They launched the Tang Puply Orange and Pulpy Mango in SM Mall of Asia Music Hall along with simultaneous fireworks in SM Megamall and SM North EDSA during the unveiling of the product.
Before the kick off of the new Tang flavors, there were three giant mangoes places in three malls of SM that brought out curiosity among the shoppers. This was also happened after the commercial of Tang Pulpy was launched on TV promoting the powdered drink that has “pulp” on it after mixed with water.
According to Mark De Joya, Tang’s Brand Manager for New Product Development during the unveiling of the new Tang flavor he says that they wanted Tang to be more sophisticated juice drink that combines real fruit taste with the flavorful experience of pulp in a powdered beverage format. With the innovation they made, it leads to the creation of Tang Pulpy which will truly cater to moms and their families.
The new Tang Pulpy has the distinctive flavor which was highlighted by the pulp bits making it more delicious and authentic fruit drink. Tang Pulpy Orange and Mango is now available in all groceries and supermarket nationwide.

In a cold weather like this, we are prone to have colds and flu and the best way to be immune it to have sufficient amount of Vitamin C in our body. Most of us resolve to vitamins sold over the counter, but recently I discovered the best way to have Vitamin C or Ascorbic Acid to my body by drinking Smart C+. Smart C+ is manufactured by Oishi and it is now available in all groceries and convenient store.
Smart C+ is like your favorite fruit drink that you can buy anywhere, but what’s good with it is that is has the sufficient amount of Vitamin C we need to fight colds and make our body strong. It comes in three flavors; Lemon Squeeze, Orange Crush, and Pomelo Grapefruit.
