Tang introduces Pulpy Orange and Mango

In line with the opening of the Year of the Metal Rabbit last February 3, Kraft Foods Philippines introduces another breakthrough in their Tang beverages. They launched the Tang Puply Orange and Pulpy Mango in SM Mall of Asia Music Hall along with simultaneous fireworks in SM Megamall and SM North EDSA during the unveiling of the product.

Before the kick off of the new Tang flavors, there were three giant mangoes places in three malls of SM that brought out curiosity among the shoppers. This was also happened after the commercial of Tang Pulpy was launched on TV promoting the powdered drink that has “pulp” on it after mixed with water.



According to Mark De Joya, Tang’s Brand Manager for New Product Development during the unveiling of the new Tang flavor he says that they wanted Tang to be more sophisticated juice drink that combines real fruit taste with the flavorful experience of pulp in a powdered beverage format. With the innovation they made, it leads to the creation of Tang Pulpy which will truly cater to moms and their families.

The new Tang Pulpy has the distinctive flavor which was highlighted by the pulp bits making it more delicious and authentic fruit drink. Tang Pulpy Orange and Mango is now available in all groceries and supermarket nationwide.

Join the Miracle Machine and Make Miracles Happen

Kraft Food Philippines maker of Miracle Whip gives everyone to celebrate Christmas meaningful not only for ourselves but also to those who are in need. Kraft launched a campaign entitled Miracle Machine which aims to reach out to groups and individuals in the internet and take part to the spirit of gift giving on Christmas and Bayanihan.

Miracle Machine is a social network application found in Facebook, where everyone has the chance to help the less fortunate more than just posting statuses on the site. In line with Christmas, Miracle Whip wishes to fulfill 12 wishes in 12 days as part of the phase 1 of the Miracle Machine project. There are 11 charities and organizations which is presented in the Miracle Machine which everyone can choose to where they wanted to send their donations.

Here are the 11 organizations and the dates where they will be launched at the Miracle Machine:

December 1 - Kythe Foundation hopes to help Angelalyn Magalano, a 13-year-old angel who suffers from Nephoric Syndrome and psoriasis by making her wish come true of meeting a pilot and talk about flying.

December 2 - Jamboree Mountaineers hopes to make the indigenous tribes’ Christmas in Wawa, Montalban merrier by trekking there and delivering food for Noche Buena.

December 3 - Childhope Asia hopes to keep street children warm this Yuletide Season by providing them with new underwear and clothes.

December 4 - Kaeskwela hopes to fill the empty libraries of public schools in far-flung areas in the country with educational books.

December 5 - The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) hopes to find abandoned dogs and cats new families to take them in by making them adoption-ready through grooming.


December 6 - Sagip Buhay and Philippine General Hospital hopes to provide medical assistance for those who don’t have the means and access to proper healthcare with new blood pressure devices and Thermoscan thermometers.


December 7 - Firefly Brigade and Tiklop Society hopes to collect 10 bikes and bike safety gear for people in urban communities to help them get from one place to another faster and safer so they can be more productive in their work.

December 8 - Tahanang Walang Hagdan hopes to give back to the 326 volunteers who have selflessly devoted their time to the organization by giving them gifts this Christmas.

December 9 - Resources for the Blind hopes to record an audio storybook for blind children to bring them to the world of wonder and imagination.

December 10 - Museo Pambata hopes to make 2, 000 children happy this Season of Giving by gifting them with pre-loved storybooks and toys.

December 11 - St. Martin de Porres Charity Home hopes to spread holiday cheer with a potluck party for the underprivileged kids under its care.

On the 12th day of December, a fully functional miracle conduit will be made available to organizations that need it and people with something to give. But the miracles and the efforts doesn’t end on the 12th day. The Miracle Machine will continue its campaign and will expanding its reach to other organizations that are in need for donations and volunteers. Kraft CheezWhiz successfully concludes its first Palamantasan

After 3 months of intense competition, winners from the regional level had their final showdown for the Kraft CheezWhiz Palamantasan last October 2 at the University Theater in University of the Philippines-Diliman. Palamantasan aims to bring awareness to all students, teachers and parents the importance of having nutritious meal through a very transformative and innovative way like Sabayang Pagbigkas, SandwichArt, Jarchitecture, Cheering, and Essay Writing competition.

Different schools participated in the said competition of Kraft CheezWhiz and some flew all the way to Manila, some participants came from Cagayan de Oro, Isabela, Zamboanga, Cebu, and Tacloban.

The campaign of Kraft CheezWhiz will continue until the Palamantasan will be an annual activity for the schools as they continue advocating the importance of having not only delicious and tasty meals, but ensuring it that it is nutritious.

Kraft Foods Philippines introduces Tang Pick & Go with Xyriel Mangabat

September 12, Pasay City – Kraft Foods Philippines officially ended the quest in search for the lost lunchbox of Xyriel Mangabat where the campaign lasted for almost 2-3 weeks. The search happens in Metro Manila, Cebu City and Davao City where in this area giant lunchboxes were placed but the thing inside it remains a mystery until the official day where it will open simultaneously.

Three major events were set in SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, SM Cebu City and SM Davao City to reveal what’s inside the giant lunchbox and it shows the latest Tang Pick & Go, Tang’s latest treat to children who wanted to have delicious and nutritious drink that is easy to prepare. It is three sachets with flavors of Mango, Orange and Pineapple, and the preparation is as simple as 1, 2 and 3; all they need to do is to rip the sachet, pour the powdered drink in the 330 ml bottle/ tumbler that contains cold water and shake it until the powdered drink dissolve in the water.

Each sachet cost P3.00 (SRP) and it’s available in all sari-sari stores, convenient stores and supermarket.

Kraft Eden's Sarap ng Pasko: 100 Days of Christmas

Philippines is known for its long celebration of Christmas season from the first day of the 'ber' month which is September up to the feast of Epiphany or the Three Kings on January the following year. With this kind of tradition, Kraft Foods Philippines brings the Keso de Gallo Year 2, a long Christmas festivities where it features cheese infused dishes from 100 towns within the country. As we all remember the last year's Keso de Gallo of Kraft Eden, the event brings home the Guinness World Record for having the biggest number of cheese infused dishes in one area and day. The Philippines recorded 5,845, defeating India's 4,668, and from that success came Cafe 5845 by Eden to remember the momentous event that the country achieved.

This year on Keso de Gallo Year 2 or known as Eden's Sarap ng Pasko: 100 days of Christmas, will break another Guinness World Record for having the longest Christmas Festivities in a year where Eden Cheese will be involved on the said activity. There will be 100 towns participating on this event where each town will have their entry for the competition. All entries are cheese infused dishes that has native ingredients in each region. From 100 entries only 9 will emerge as winners and will be featured in Kraft Eden’s Keso de Gallo. Winners will be hosting a breakfast in one of the Misa de Gallo in their respective town.


All nine winners will receive P10, 000 and the over-all winner will receive P2 Million, winners will be determined through voting.

Café 5845 by Eden opens in SM Mall of Asia

July 24, Pasay City – Kraft Foods Philippines in partnership with Magsaysay Center of Hospitality (MIHCA) and SM Mall of Asia (MOA) finally opens there first cheese café in the Philippines which the call Café 5845 by Eden in the north wing in front of the Manila Bay in MOA. Present in the inaugural of the café were SM MOA’s Assistant Vice President Steve Tan with Marketing Manager Cecille Ang, Kraft Foods Philippines’s Brand Manager for Eden Cheese Timmy Ong, Category Manager for cheese and spoonables Alex Dan Tacderas and MIHCA’s Vice President and Head of Operations Chef Giovasco Barlao.


Café 5845 commemorates the 5845 cheese infused dishes presented last December 13 at the Araneta Coliseum that earns the Guiness World Record title and now those dishes will be serve one at the time and in batches at the cheese café in MOA. The café’s classy European architectural theme will make the clients more comfy and relax while tasting all the cheese infused dishes in a very affordable and reasonable price.

Kraft Cheez Whiz launches Palamantasan Campain

July 10, Taguig City – Kraft Foods Corporation makers of Cheez Whiz launches their latest campaign in line with the Nutrition Month entitled Kraft Cheez Whiz Palamantasan, in partnership with ABS-CBN, Expressions and Department of Education. Its aim is to create awareness among the student, teachers and parents the importance of nutrition in what they are eating. Sometimes the food they take in and makes them full doesn’t have the right nutrition that their body needed like junk foods. According to statistics that approximately 8 Million Filipino children are malnourished, it can be easily determined of the weight and height that doesn’t linked to the estimated height and weight per age, it means not most children today are underweight or smaller than their age.


In line with this campaign Kraft Cheez Whiz will be bringing Palamantasan, an interschool competition among grade school students nationwide quest for nutrition. It includes speech choir, essay writing, jar art, sandwich making, and others. The campaign will run until September. According to Alex Dan Tacderas, Category Manager for Cheese and Spoonables of Kraft Foods Philippines, that the school is the second home where children learns basic lessons and values, and with this they wanted to direct their advocacy to schools in both enjoyable and educational way. Tipas Elementary School in Taguig City is one of the schools selected for this program where students actively participates in all the competition.


Aside from the interschool competition headed by Kraft Cheez Whiz, they also launch a website where it contains the information about the Palamantasan and other details about nutrition which both parents and teachers might find interesting, the website is www.Palamantasan.com.
