hi! The scholarship is very enticing however it is only open to graduating high school students.
I hope you'll consider undergraduate peeps/ out of school youth who also has the passion to become a teacher but lacks financial resources to pursue.

Dear Sir,
I’ve watched the commercial of Mr. Ryan Agoncillo and Ms. Judy Ann Santos for “Teacher ko Idol ko”. It caught my attention because my sister is a freshman education student at the University of the East. She graduated as class salutatorian in High School and got a scholarship during her first semester. Unfortunately, the scholarship didn’t continue on her second semester and because of this, we are struggling to pay for her tuition fee. Our mother is a single parent and her income as English tutor is not enough to support my sister’s education. I cannot give my full support because I am already married and have a family of my own. We are now in the brink of making her stop if we cannot find scholarship opportunities. So when I saw the commercial, it gave me hope for my sister. But when I read some articles about it on the internet, it says that you only give support to graduating high school students. I hope that there is also an opportunity for my sister to apply for scholarship since she’s also taking up education and just on her first year.
My sister, really wants to be a teacher and she would like to specialize in special education or SPED. She has a heart of serving others. In fact, she’s a Sunday School teacher since 13. She is very studious and hard working. It would be very disappointing if she will stop her studies and discontinue her dreams.
We hope that you can give her a chance for the scholarship.
Thank you and hope to hear from you soon. My e-mail is onamercado@yahoo.com.ph
Sincerely,
Mitzi
