Second Season of Imortal Begins this February
Imortal follows the love story of Lia (Locsin) and Mateo (Cruz) who were destined to fight each other and save their group; Wayas and Sangres. Season 2 opens with the acceptance of Mateo to be part of the Sangre and to become their chosen one, while Lia, a heart broken Waya left their tribe and tried to change her identity yet memories of the past including Mateo’s keeps hunting her.
Imortal is one ABS-CBN’s teleseryes that dominates Primetime television and offers webisodes and online role-playing game (RPG) on its official website http://imortal.abs-cbn.com. It airs weeknights after Mara Clara.

Mutya airs on January 31 on Primetime Bida
Here is the full trailer of Mutya that instead of February, it will now air on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida on January 31.
Aside from Mutya, the creations of Pablo S. Gomez that was adapted as TV show in the Kapamilya Network includes Juanita Banana, and Kampanerang Kuba.

Aside from Bayaniha, the ABS-CBN 2010 Christmas Station ID also acknowledges the success of every Filipinos in their chosen fields and career that strengthen what we call the Filipino Pride. The Station ID includes all the Kapamilya Stars including members of ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs, Regional Network Group and Radio Station under ABS-CBN. ABS-CBN launches 2010 Christmas Station ID on November 4 with theme song Ngayong Pasko, Magniningning ang Pilipino
Coming from last year’s phenomenal and award-winning “Bro, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko,” ABS-CBN newest station music video dubbed as “Ngayong Pasko, Magniningning ang Pilipino” will once again kindle the light of unity and honor Filipinos’ commitment to change.
On the same day, ABS-CBN executives, employees, and guests from the government, private sector, and the media will celebrate the 82nd birth anniversary of its late chairman Geny “Kapitan” Lopez and recognize the winners in this year’s Bayaning Pilipino Awards.
Other activities lined-up for the Christmas campaign this year will include the Kapamilya Simbang Gabi, the selling of the Kapamilya Parol, holding of Christmas bazaars, staging of Christmas special at the Araneta Coliseum, and launching viewers text promo.
This year, ABS-CBN is making the Kapamilya Parol as a symbol of this commitment and will stand as a pledge for our individual share in bringing about change in our lives, our families, our nation.
Supported by 200 of the biggest and the brightest Kapamilyas from the different platforms of ABS-CBN – Entertainment, News and Current Affairs, ANC, DZMM and Tambayan 101.9, and the Regional Network Group— the music video involved in entertaining and giving service to the public.
Noontime talent show “Showtime” staged a real live event for the benefit of the madlang people at the Escopa II, Project 4, Quezon City. Led by “Showtime” barkada Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Kim Atienza, Jugs and Teddy, and Vice Ganda, they gave away gifts to lucky madlang people who showed their ‘samples’ or talents alongside winning performances from XB Gen San, Philippine Islands Assassins, and Unlimited Boys. The A Pop Young and the Gigger Boys served as judges.
Meanwhile, patients at the Perpetual Succor Hospital in Sampaloc, Manila were recipients of ABS-CBN Foundation gift packs of school supplies, DVDs of ABS-CBN Foundation shows, and Bayanijuan t-shirts given out by Kapamilya stars Piolo Pascual, Gretchen Barretto and the hosts of “Pilipinas Win na Win” Rico J. Puno, Marco Sison, Rey Valera,Nonoy Zuñiga, Valerie Concepcion, Gee Canlas and Janelle Jamer.
ABS-CBN also dedicates this year’s Christmas Station ID to all those who continue to bring pride and honor to our country with their world-class talents and skills, like Journey frontman Arnel Pineda and international pop star Charice.
The theme song “Ngayong Pasko, Magniningning ang Pilipino” sung by Gary Valenciano and Toni Gonzaga, features the University of Santo Tomas Singers conducted by Prof. Fidel G. Calalang Jr. This year alone, the world-renowned group won 10 grand prizes from musical competitions in Poland, Spain and Northern Ireland, including the Choir of the World – Luciano Pavarotti Trophy at the 63rd Llangollen International Music Festival in Wales, UK.
Fresh from Brazil, the Philippine Homeless World Cup team, led by sports legends Coach Rudy Del Rosario and Coach Elmer Bedia, won 8 out of 11 games and brought home the Host Cup. They bonded on the field with Derek Ramsay, Ejay Falcon, Marc Nelson, Dyan Castillejo and Martin Nievera.
The song was written by Jordan Constantino, with music by Lloyd Corpuz, arranged and produced by Eric Perlas. A remixed version by Gab Valenciano will be released by Star Records.
The 2010 Christmas SID was created by ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management headed by Robert Labayen, Ira Zabat, Johnny de los Santos, Patrick De Leon with the SID team, Edsel Misenas, Dang Baldonado, and Kathrina Sanchez. It is directed by Paolo Ramos. Other members are Peewee Gonzales, Assistant Director; Jimmy Porca, Project Coordinator; Jun Aves, Cinematographer; Oliver Paler, Post-Production Head; Alfie Landayan, Motion Graphics Designer; Angel Diesta, Production Designer; Winnie Mariano, talent coordinator; Rap Dela Rea, Editor; Mary Ann Rejano, Caster; and Egay Del Rosario, Location Manager.

Biggest Loser: Pinoy Edition - Soon on ABS-CBN
The Biggest Loser has versions in the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, and Asia. It features plus-size contestants who undergo rigorous training and strict diet, testing their physical limits and will power to achieve the ultimate goal---to lose weight. The contestant who loses the highest percentage of weight by the end of the show takes home the cash and prize package. With the Pinoy Edition, expect the internationally successful reality show to be given an exciting Filipino twist.
All those brave enough to face the weight challenge can join the auditions starting on Friday (July 9), 10am to 4pm at the Pinoy Big Brother Activity Area, 18 Eugenio Lopez Drive, Brgy South Triangle, Q.C., followed by provincial auditions on July 16 at Metro Town Mall, Tarlac, July 30 Park Mall Cebu, August 6 on Embarcadero de Legaspi, Legaspi City, and August 13 at SM City Iloilo.

Jovit Baldivino is Pilipinas Got Talent Grand Winner
Jovit Baldivino the 16 year old aspiring singer of Batangas is the First Grand Winner of Pilipinas Got Talent and will be taking home 2 Million Pesos. Jovit Baldivino performed Too Much Love Will Kill You by the Journey as his winning piece for the Pilipinas Got Talent Performance Night last, June 12 at the Araneta Coliseum. Along with Jovit Baldivino Baguio Metamorphosis and Velasco Brothers joins him in top 3. Baguio Metamorphosis and Velasco Brothers will be bringing home 100, 000 Pesos, while the remaining runner ups brings home P50, 000. Pilipinas Got Talent is hosted by Luis Manzano and Billy Crowford with Judges Kris Aquino, Ai Ai delas Alas and Freddie M Garcia (FMG). The twelve (12) finalist of Pilipinas Got Talent includes Allan “Alakim” De Paz (magician), Baguio Metamorphosis (dance group), Ezra Band (rock band), Ingrid Payaket (classical singer), Jovit Baldivino (singer), Keith Clark Delleva (electric guitar player), Luntayao Family (singing group), Maria Jeline Oliva (violinist/pianist), Markki Stroem (singer), Ruther Urquia (ventriloquist/puppet master), Sherwin Baguion (singer) and Velasco Brothers (acrobat hip hop dance group). Pilipinas Got Talent is telecast on ABS-CBN Channel 2 under the Got Talent Franchise under the Freemantle, same group who produce the Idol franchise.
Pilipinas Got Talent was launch in ABS-CBN last February 20, 2010, there’s still no announcement regarding the Season 2. And for the two day grand finals of Pilipinas Got Talent the show trended top on social media such as Twitter.

ABS-CBN Rainy Season Station ID 2010 with the Kapamilya Teleserye Stars
As the rain starts to pour this June, the country’s most sought after teleserye stars also pour in one music video with ABS-CBN’s newest station ID launched last Friday.
After the very successful “Sukob Na” station ID in 2002 and due to insistent public demand, ABS-CBN once again gives you a rainy season treat that also celebrates the 60th year of Pinoy soap operas.
With music from Aiza Seguerra, the new station ID features Piolo Pascual, Zaijan Jaranilla, Kristine Hermosa, Xyriel Manabat, Empress Schuck, Matt Evans, Felix Roco, Gretchen Barretto, Bea Alonzo, Cristine Reyes, Zanjoe Marudo , Jericho Rosales, Anne Curtis, Angel Locsin, and John Lloyd Cruz.
The new rainy season SID was created by ABS-CBN’s Creative Communications Management Group headed by Robert Labayen and directed by Richard Ang.

ABS-CBN Launches 2010 Summer Station ID “Summer ang Simula”
ABS-CBN launches its 2010 Summer Station ID in ASAP XV simulcast in other ABS-CBN subsidiaries. The campaign is entitled Summer ang Simula in line with ABS-CBN’s News and Current Affairs advocacy Ako ang Simula ng Pagbabago. With almost 150 artist and news anchors of ABS-CBN who participates on the Summer SID they show the importance of this summer on how everyone can do more than just having vacation and fun. They include the campaign of participating on the 2010 election along with caring for nature which shows on the project of ABS-CBN Foundation’s Takbo Para sa Ilog Pasig and other socially relevant activities. Like last year it was shown in ABS-CBN SID.

ABS-CBN Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo begins on January 18 on Primetime Bida!
Ang pinakabagong teleseryeng lalabag sa batas ng pag-ibig... ‘Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo’ ay magsisimula na sa Lunes, January 18, sa ABS-CBN.Mula sa naghatid sa inyo ng Tayong Dalawa at Iisa Pa Lamang, ang ‘Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo’ ang siyang magbibigay ng panibagong mukha sa kinasanayang teleserye ng mga Pinoy, hatiid ang naiibang kwento, bigating cast at tatlong dekalibreng direktor sa telebisyon.
Pagkatapos ng mga hindi malilimutang karakter nina JR, Dave, Audrey at Ramon sa ‘Tayong Dalawa’, pinagsama-samang muli ang mga pinakamanining na bituin sa industriya upang bigyang buhay ang mga karakter na tiyak na mamahalin at ng sambayanang Pilipino at siugradong tatak sa kasaysayan ng Philippine TV: Gabby Concepcion bilang Steve, Kris Aquino bilang Celine, Albert Martinez bilang Frank, Jacklyn Jose bilang Astrud, Gina Pareño bilang Petulah, Maricar Reyes bilang Selina, Gloria Romero bilang Barbara, Maxene Eigenmann bilang Alicia, Kim Chiu bilang Gwen, Gerald Anderson bilang Robbie, at Coco Martin bilang Ringgo.

“When ‘Tayong Dalawa’ became a hit, we were challenged to do something na pwedeng pumantay sa naabot ng ‘Tayong Dalawa’,” pahayag ni Direk Trina. Dagdag ni Direk Dondon, “We were very excited to do the project. Knowing na orginal ang materyal, challenge sa aming mga direktor na makapagset ng high standards.”
Ayon naman kay Direk Erick, hindi lang ang ganda at tagumpay ng mga naunang programa ng ABS-CBN ang dahilan para lalo pang pagandahin ang teleseryeng ito, kundi ang mismong paghihintay ng mga tao sa mas magagandang serye ang nagtutulak sa kanila para lalo pang paghusayin, “Siyempre hindi lang yung pressure ang nagtutulak sa amin na pagandahin ang serye. It is the viewing public… yung paghihintay nila sa isa na namang bigating soap opera mula sa ABS-CBN ang nagpapainspire rin sa amin.”

Andi Eigenman plays the role of Agua Bendita
Bilang parte ng new set of teleserye na i-la-launch ng ABS-CBN ngayong 2010, ipinapakilala si Andi Eigenman ang daughter ng award winning actress na si Jacklyn Jose bilang gaganap sa papel na Agua Bendita, isang famous character mula sa Liwayway comics at gawa ni Rod Santiago.
Nailabas na noon sa ABS-CBN under Komiks Presents ang Agua Bendita noong March 2006 na kung saan ay pinagbidahan ito ni Shaina Magdayao. Ang Agua Bendita ay tungkol sa twins na sina Agua at Bendita, na kung saan si Agua ay ipinanganak na water form, habang si Bendita naman ay isang ordinaryong bata. The only way na maging tao si Agua ay kailangan magpalit anyo siya gamit ang katawan ni Bendita habang si Bendita naman ay magiging water form kagaya ni Agua. Dahil sa angking kagandahan ni Bendita na nagamit ni Agua ay nag-iba ang ugali nito at naging masama. Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson teams up on Star Cinema’s Paano na Kaya
Kimerald fans rejoice dahil after ng team up nila sa Star Cinema na I’ve Fallen For You this year magbabalik sina Kim Chiu at Gerald Anderson sa bagong movie na pagtatambalan nila sa Star Cinema ang Paano Na Kaya, the film is under the direction of Direk Ruel Bayani the same director who directs Kim and Gerald sa Tayong Dalawa and the title of this film is from the popular hit song of Bugoy Drilon with the same title under his Muli album.
The story is about bestfriend where kin plays the roll of Mae and Gerald is playing Bogz. Sa kabila ng friendship nila things became complicated where they started to fell in love with each other suppressing their feelings thinking it might destroy their friendship.
