8.9 magnitude quake hits Japan

Early afternoon of March 11, a 7.9 magnitude quake hits Japan and after few minutes it was updated to 9.8. The Tsunami brings damage in key ares in Japan like Tokyo, Miyagi, Iwate, and Sendai the center of the quake. Millions of infrastructures and facilities was reported damage and families living within the areas evacuated and stayed in higher buildings in order save themselves. Others were stranded calling for help but as of this moment when this blog was written the water keeps on moving on the area and now rescue was done.

After the tsunami in Japan, countries like Russia, Taiwan, Hawaii, Guam, Indonesia, Marshall Islands, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Nauru, and Micronesia has posted tsunami warnings in their areas with time frame of 3-5 hours before tsunami hits the coast of the said countries.

Aside from the flood caused by tsunami, fire brings additional damage in Japan. The country will be surely needing help from other countries and I was hoping that families in Japan both natives, foreigners and of course Filipinos were all safe in the evacuation areas.
