Kiko Pangilinan withdraws from Senate Presidency race

Liberal Party Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan quits the Senate Presidency race a day before the openning the 15th Congress on July 26. Pangilinan doesn't want to be the reason of the fragmentation and disunited senate. In his statement he says that as much as he wanted to win the senate presidency he cannot handle the disunity among the member of the senate. Aside from the issues in the senate, Pangilinan's wife the actress Sharon Cuneta shows disappointment on his uncle Senator Tito Sotto III for not supporting his husband instead he supports Sen.
