The join the audition, aspiring contestants must present a single or accumulated receipt purchase worth 1,000 Pesos from any SM Hypermart stores. The competition will be judged with the criteria; Taste (50%), Originality (25%), Plating/Presentation (15%) and Affordability (10%), and judges includes Umagang Kay Ganda host Winnie Cordero and top Filipino chef like Reggie Aspiras.
The grand winner of SM Hypermart Super Chef 2010 will receive a kitchen showcase worth P100,000 and a 4-day all-expense-paid trip in Singapore for a crashed course on culinary arts. Runner-ups will also win a P50,000, P25,000, P15,000 or P10,000 SM gift certificates. Only the grand finals will be aired on the Asia Food Channel.
