May 26, 2010, 8PM (May 27, 8am – Philippine time) the winner of American Idol Season 9 will be announced who among Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze will be bringing home the title of the 9th American Idol Winner that will brings change to his or her life. Live via satellite from Fox Channel in USA, people around the world is looking forward who will be the next American Idol following the footsteps of Kris Allen, David Cook, Jordin Sparks, Taylor Hicks, Carrie Underwood, Fantasia Barrino, Rubben Studdard and Kelly Clarkson. Aside from live feed from US, there will be live updates and free live online streaming from the different American Idol fans who wants to share the results and the final performance of the Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze on the Grand Finale.Aside from the announcement of the winner, it will be the last day of Simon Cowell in the show who will be leaving for a new project that will be shown on Fox soon.
