Manny who knocks out Cotto on the 12th round of their fight at their Firepower Boxing Fight, gains his 7th title which is Welterweight while the other titles were; Flyweight after defeating Chatchai Sasakul on 1998, Super Bantamweight defeating Lehlohonolo Ledwaba in 2001, Featherweight defeating Erik Morales in 2006, Super Featherweight defeating Juan Manuel Marquez in 2007, Lightweight defeating David Diaz in 2008 and Light Welterweight defeating Ricky Hatton this year (2009)Freddie Roch, Pacquiao's coach says that he is confident that Manny can now faced Mayweather and can with their fight. As the Filipinos celebrates the success of what they called the Philippine pride where they watch Pacquiao-Cotto's fight on pay per view live streaming on the net and cable and even in free TV's delayed telecast. The boxing gloves that Pacquiao used in his practice is proposed to be preserved as part of the boxing history of what Manny did.
Despite of his success his mother Dionisia Pacquiao requested Manny to retire from his boxing career, where his mother could not afford to see his son suffers. While his wife Jingky celebrates the success of his husband.
