Which is according to United Nation Millenuem Report that most of the family lives in extreme poverty line ay nabubuhay lamang sa halagang below $1 Dollar or 45 Pesos, which mostly goes straight to major needs of the family which is for food, at ang edukasyon naman ay nagiging pinakahuli sa priority ng pamilya.

And the only classroom they can afford is by setting the class in the cemetery na kung saan tahimik ay makakapag aral mabuti ang mga batang tinutulungan nila.

Efren Peñaflorida's interview on TV Patrol World

Ang usapin ng edukasyon ay nakapaloob sa MDG number 2, Achieve universal primary education na kung saan not all had the change to get the opportunity of having primary education because of poverty where majority of the children living in extreme poverty is forced to work in order to support the needs of their family.

Efren Peñaflorinda is now nominated as one of the top 10 CNN Heroes for 2009, and after knowing all his efforts for our youth isn’t it enough for us to support his plight? Suportahan natin nya at iboto sa CNN Heroes 2009 by visiting http://edition.cnn.com/SPECIALS/cnn.heroes/ or by just clicking the image below.

Paalam #Cory, An ABS-CBN Commemorative Special

ABS-CBN Publishing pays tribute to our beloved late former president Corazon C. Aquino with a commemorative special entitled Paalam Cory. The magazine features excerpts from the life and times of President Cory, highlighting poignant scenes from her wake and funeral as seen through the lenses of some of the country's most seasoned professional photographers.

We remember our Tita Cory, the woman in yellow, arms raised in defiance against the dictator, a ray of hope in the midst of People Power. We celebrate her selflessness, her integrity and her unwavering faith in the Lord Almighty which gave her the strength to weather the most trying times and emerge victorious. And we believe in what she stood for, the gentle courage that is her being, and her firm conviction that echoes her husband Ninoy's resolute stance: "The Filipino is worth dying for."

Paalam Cory is now available at major magazine stands.
