Third Sex and Livelihood from Recycled Plastics in Patrol ng Pilipino

The freedom of choice, especially when it comes to love, is one of the most basic human rights. But what if the person you choose to love is someone of the same sex?

This is the issue faced by the gay Filipino community today. The Catholic Church may tolerate their sexual orientation, but they are still condemned for homosexual acts such as same sex marriage.

While groups like “Ang Ladlad” are fervently fighting for the rights of homosexuals, there is still much to fight for as our society remains largely conservative.  Find out the feelings and thoughts of the third sex from the report of Ryan Chua in “Patrol ng Pilipino” this Tuesday night (Mar 8).

Meanwhile, take at look at the beneficial and destructive sides to the use of plastic. Join Gretchen Malalad as she tours the city of Muntilupa, where the use of plastic was banned after Typhoon Ondoy.  While plastic was blamed for clogging the drainages and causing flood, it is also the main source of livelihood for many families there.

See all the sides of the story behind the news in “Patrol ng Pilipino” this Tuesday night (Mar 8), after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN.
