Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell stars in The Other Guys

Columbia Pictures brings Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell, Eva Mendes, Ray Stevenson, Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne Johnson, in the action-comedy entitled The Other Guys that will be shown in all cinemas beginning October 13, 2010. The film is directed by Adam McKay.

The Other Guys follows the two underdogs in the detective scene Allen Gamble (Ferrell) and Terry Hoitz (Wahlberg) who’s always in the shadow of two respective detectives in US; Christopher Danson and P.K. Highsmith (Johnson and Jackson). Hoping to have names of their own Gable and Hoitz tries to be on the “scene” and have their names for themselves they accept an innocuous case that no police or detective is accepting. The case will bring out the “best” in them that will test their wits and guts as detectives hoping for the fame they all wanted.

McKay shares that The Other Guys is a hilarious movie that everyone will enjoy watching. “The Other Guys is an action comedy, and I think it’s just as funny as the movies we’ve made in the past. But it’s also a bit more badass – we really tried to come up with action scenes we hadn’t seen before, and I think we came up with some fantastic stuff.” McKay added.

The Other Guys will be shown in all cinemas nationwide beginning October 13. The film is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
