March 15, 2010 l National Kidney and Transplant Institute, Quezon City – Former Budget Secretary Emilia Boncodin passed away this afternoon (1PM) due to cardiac arrest as she battle with multiple kidney cysts. Where she undergo dialysis at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute, Quezon City
Nakilala si Sec. Boncodin na isa sa anim cabinet secretary at tatlong government executives ni President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo na nagresign noong kapanahunan ng Hello Garci Scandal, isang recorded conversation between PGMA and commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Virgilio Garcillano patungkol sa 2004 National Election. Tinawag ang grupong ito na Hyatt 10.
“She was very kind, soft spoken but firm in resolve. She knew her stuff and could be depended on for unbiased and honest commentary. Will miss her”, ito ang mensaheng ipinadala ni Leah Navarro, convenor ng Black & White Momevent convenor at mabuting kaibigan at kasama sa grupo ni Sec. Boncodin.
Hanggang ngayon ay wala pang detalye kaugnay sa kung saan idadaos ang burol at funeral rights ng dating cabinet secretary ni Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo na tumayo at nanindigan sa paniniwala niyang tama.
