Who will be next singing superstar on American Idol Season 9?


American Idol, the no. 1 musical reality talent search returns for its more exciting ninth season beginning January 13 and 14 at 6PM on Star World (Jan 12 and 13 @ 8/7 (USA Time) on Fox). This season brings more twist and challenges for the next singing superstar now that American Idol season 9 welcomes its new judge replacing Paula Abdul after leaving the show on the end season 8.

The show is hosted by Ryan Seacrest with American Idol panel of judges that will scrutinize the new sets of hopefuls for a shot of stardom, Judges Kara DoiGuardi , Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson will be returning this season and the Emmy Award-winning talk show host Ellen De Generes will be the fourth judge replacing Abdul. Being a huge fan of the show, DeGeneres is excited to be part of the fulfilling the dreams of the hopefuls and see them how they grow and compete to each other be the 2010’s American Idol.

During the absence of the fourth judge where DeGeneres was not yet selected, American Idol production team invited guest judges to fill in during the call back audition where includes: Victoria Beckham (Denver and Foxborough), Mary J. Blige (Atlanta), Joe Jonas (Arlington), Neil Patrick Harris (Arlington), Kristin Chenoweth (Orlando), Shania Twain (Chicago), Katy Perry (Los Angeles), and Avril Lavigne (Los Angeles). The regional audition audition started last June 14 2009 in Foxborough and ends at July 14, 2009 at Denver. While the Call-back auditions where the guest judges sits in started at Denver, August 5, 2009 and ended at Los Angeles on September 4, 2009 with thousand of hopefuls struggles to have the approval of the judges and receive the golden ticket for the American Idol Season 9. All the auditions will be shown on American Idol Season 9 pre-final episodes and the actual competition where the 24 semifinalist (12 male and 12 female contestants) will be announced during the Hollywood Round Episode that will air on February. And on March the 12 finalist will be named.

Emmy Award-winning American Idol is created and produced by Simon Fuller and under the distribution of FremantleMedia Enterprises. Simon Cowell one of the judges of American Idol says that Season 9 will be his last year. Idol Gives Back, the charity handle of American Idol is set to return on April 21, 2010.

American Idol Season 9 begins on January 13 and 14 at 6PM on Star World (Jan 12 and 13 @ 8/7 (USA time) on Fox).
