According to his publicist Annet Wolf, Patric Swayze died peacefully with his family in his side after enduring his illness for 20 months or 1 year and 8 months.
March 2008 when the news reaches Swayze's fans that the actor is suffering with cancer. He continue working despite of the diagnosis, Swayze and his wife created “The Beast”, an A&E drama series that already made a pilot. While on the process on making the project Swayze refuses to take pain killers with his reason that when he is on the medication he cannot perform well on the series. The Beast drew almost 1.3 million viewers when it airs its 13 episodes on early months of 2009, but A&E decided not to renew the show for its second season.
Swayze's publicist Wolf, hasn't given additional details regarding the actors funeral according to Associated Press.
