Friendster is now on TAGALOG
After Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, Nihongo, and Hangul, now its Pinoy's turn to shine on Friendster as Friendster Team launches Tagalog language on their interface, David Jones Vice President of Global Marketing, Friendster mention during the 2nd Internet and Mobile Marketing Summit 2008 at the Manila Intercon Makati last August 13, he mention that changing the language interface of Friendster actually helps to generate more registrations and it became more personal to its user. Like Facebook and other social networks and the rise of other translation tool for online ay nakakatulong ito sa mga users to understand more of what the website or social network offers. Aside from calling that process sa plain marketing, its more of provider and user intimacy where the provider touches on the emotional side of its user for simply familiarization of the system and attachment to the service or product (website).
