Yogi Bear: From TV to the Big Screen!

Warner Bros Pictures brings Yogi Bear to the big screen after its huge success in television for decades and became part of the lives of every child and generations Yogi Bear is based from the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series to be released in the big screen by Warners beginning June 8, 2011 (Philippines) and Christmas Season (December 17, 2011 in other countries. It is directed by Eric Brevig and features the voices of Dan Aykroyd as Yogi Bear and Justine Timberlake as Boo Boo.

The 3-D live-action/CGI film follows the usual life of Yogi Bear and his sidekick Boo Boo which we all recall in the cartoon snatching picnic basket of the families having their relaxing day at the Jellystone Park. With Tom Cavanagh as the infamous Ranger Smith, Yogi’s arch enemy and stops him from picnic basket snatching at the park they will be facing bad news at the same time that Mayor Brown (Andy Daly) will be closing and selling the land of Jellystone Park and the two enemies must work together to save their “home”.

Picture Yogi Bear trailer)  As a huge fan of Hanna-Barbera cartoons with the likes of The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, The Jetsons and The Smurfs, I am ecstatic to see Yogi Bear in live action and on the big screen. The film also includes artist like Anna Faris (Rachel), T.J. Miller (Ranger Jones) and Christine Taylor (voice for Cindy Bear). Yogi Bear is distributed by Warner Bros Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company and will be available on 3D and ordinary format.

ANG SA WARI KO: Yes, breastfeeding is best for the baby, but their are circumstances na ang isang ina ay walang kakayahan magprovide ng gatas para sa kanyang anak. Nakikiaayon ako sa ilang mga sektor ng lipunan na nagsasabing makakabuti ito sa mga bata, pero tulad nga ng sinabi ko na una, na kung ang isang ina ay walang kakayahang magbigay ng gatas sa anak ay magreresultang kailangan gumawa sya ng substitution para may mainom na gatas ang kanyang anak, at iyon ay ang commercial milk na galing sa baka. May mga ilang sektor ngayon na kailangan makibaka, magsampa ng asunto sa korte laban sa mga commercial milk providers dahil sa mga ilang maling impormasyon daw sa kanilang mga commercials. Ang sa wari ko lang maaari man mali o tama ang parehong grupo sa kanilang impormasyong ibinibigay. Ang malinaw na usapin lang ay ito, mainam ang breastfeeding sa bata ngunit sa panahong walang kakayahan ang isang inang makapagproduce ng gatas may laya siyang mag painom ng gatas mula sa baka o commercialize milk at hindi ito kasalanan na kailangan dalhin pa sa korte o anumang hearing. Ploning is the story of one woman's promise, her hope and love from the point of view of a young boy.

Present time. Having lived aboard an illegal Taiwanese fishing vessel for as long as he can remember, 30-plus year old Filipino Muo Sei (meaning "Moses", son taken out of the water), grew up to be a man of brokenness, unpredictable temper and solitary loneliness. Until one morning his boat docks into the shores of Cuyo, Palawan. His adoptive Taiwanese father risks being caught and summons him to find "Ploning" before the sun sets, in the hopes of dealing with his past and changing his ways. No one knows who or what "Ploning" is to Muo Sei and no one has ever dared to ask...And so his search begins...

Muo Sei tours the island, observes the people and place as an outsider, and finally revisits his memories, baring how much he has been part of Cuyo and the life of a woman named Ploning.

1980's. The past comes to life and 30-year old Ploning is revealed as the island's enigmatic belle who cared for 7-year old Digo - short for Rodrigo, Muo Sei's real name - as her own. She is a woman who the town knows as keeping true to the promise of waiting for her beau, the young town hero who has for Manila more than a decade ago. This set her as both exemplary and rumor magnet. But one thing is common, everyone wants to marry her off. And Digo discovers Ploning's plan to leave for Manila. Thus threatened by the sudden prospect of losing Ploning, Digo devices ways to keep her from leaving and gets her to make a promise.

Did Ploning choose closure with the man she has been waiting for half her life or the future of young boy whose life is not her own?

Old pains of rejection and unanswered questions are relived, as backdropped by an ironically beautiful milieu and a community of townspeople who are enamored and affected by the life and love of Ploning.

In Digo's eyes, Ploning is likewise revealed as a dutiful daughter to patriarch Susing, a committed supporter to grieving Intang, an honorary sister to extended family Nieves and Toting a wise ally to simpleton Alma, a co-mother to half-paralyzed Juaning, a dear friend to ailing nurse Celeste, an object of desire to young lad Siloy and a foe to Digo's older brother Veling.

In the end, a secret is revealed to Rodrigo that awakens him into a love he has forsaken and misunderstood. Thus the healing that comes from forgiveness springs forth into his hardened heart.

Will Rodrigo finally choose to accept love or continue to walk in hate?

Di yata sumosobra na ang ABC sa pagkakaroon ng mga writers and commentators na walang preno sa mga pasaring nila sa lahi ni Juan dela Cruz, sa akin tanggap ko pa ang Desperate Housewives at The Daily Show dahil both satire comedy ang treatment ng show, pero ang ganitong talk show, I don't think so, wish Oprah was there para gawin niya ang ginawa nya kay Tommy Hilfinger after sya magpakawala ng racist statement. Kund di marunong mga ingles ang mga Pinoy, mas hindi edukado ang ilang mga kanong akala mo kung sino, kaya nga masayang panoorin ang survivor kasi nakikita mo gaano sila katanga pagdating sa basic way of living, paano pa kung mawalan sila ng kuryente at internet baka pagsiwalaan na sila at mabaliw.
