Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo is Lactum’s newest Panatag Mother

In line with the growing family of Lactum, Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo the mother of Yohan and Lucio joins Claudine Baretto, Carmina Villaruel and Jodi Sta. Maria as the newest member of the community of Panatag Mothers. With her latest commercial for Lactum, Judai also brings her daughter Yohan to be part of the TV plug that was launch 2 weeks ago in ABS-CBN.

Mara Clara opens on October 25!

ABS-CBN brings back the teleserye that touches the lives of million Filipinos nationwide, and brings popularity to the names of Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes as they own the characters Mara and Clara. Mara Clara is the longest drama series of ABS-CBN where it started in June 22, 1992 on afternoon slot and ended in February 14, 1997 where it was moved in primetime slot of the Kapamilya Network.

Now in Oct 25, 2010, the famous diary will be unfolding the secrets again of the lives of Mara and Clara with the new stars playing the iconic role. Kathryn Bernardo will be doing the role of Mara and Julia Montes as Clara, with Dimples Romana as Almira Del Valle, Bobby Andrews as Amante Del Valle, Jhong Hilario as Gary David, Mylene Dizon as Susan David, Gina Pareno as Lupe, Chokoleit as CG, Albie Casino as Christian, John Manalo as Eris, and Ping Mendina as Kardo. Lupe is a new character on the remake of Mara Clara series where she will play as the grandmother of Mara, while the surname Davis was changed to David.

Here are the list of the artist who did the original Mara Clara that was created by Emil Cruz Jr. : Judy Ann Santos as Mara Del Valle, Gladys Reyes as Clara Davis, Juan Rodrigo as Amante del Valle , Beverly Vergel as Almira del Valle, Dan Fernandez as Kardo, Susan Africa as Susan Davis, Eruel Tongco as Gary Davis, Leni Santos as Lenita, Minnie Aguilar as Lagring, Michael "Eagle" Riggs as CG, Paolo Contis as Jepoy, Christopher Roxas as Eris, Wowie De Guzman as Christian. Tongco died before the series ended which created a huge impact in the show, while some of characters were not included on the remake’s trailer so I am not sure if they are included on the Mara Clara.

The challenge on the remake of Mara Clara if will they change some important details like if they will “kill” the character of Gary David in the story or not which it will create a big change in the flow of the series, like including a character in the story like Lupe.

For a person who saw the original Mara Clara, I am excited on how the creative team and the production will tweak some information and scenes to appeal in the present times. The 2010 Mara Clara will be airing on ABS-CBN beginning Oct 25.

Judy Ann Santos Agoncillo gives birth to Baby Juan Luis "Lucho" Agoncillo

Followers of the Young Star Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are now celebrating after the news reach them that Judai finally give birth to their first son which they named Juan Luis "Lucho" Agoncillo.

Judai gave birth to Lucho around 5-6pm at the Asian Hospital in Alabang on October 7. According to Mommy Carol, Judai's mother, Luis came from Ryan's father and Juan came from Johanna's name Judai and Ryan's adopted daughter who is also known as Yohan. Judai give birth to Lucho on a natural delivery.

Judy Ann Santos and Sarah Geronimo stars on Hating Kapatid

Viva Entertainment Films brings Sarah Geronimo and Judy Ann Santos together in one family oriented movie with a touch of comedy entitled Hating Kapatid which will be airing in all cinemas nationwide beginning July 21. The film is directed by Wenn de Ramas and writen by Mel Mendoza-Del Rosario the same tandem behind the block buster Tanging Ina series, aside from the Young Superstar Judai and Pop Star Princess Sarah, the film includes Luis Manzano, Vice Ganda, Gina Pareño, JC de Vera, DJ Durano, Cherie Pie Picache and Tonton Gutierrez:

The film is about Maria Rica (Judai) and her younger sister Maria Cecilia (Sarah) who was raised by their Lola Getty (Gina) after their mother decided to work as an OFW. Rica takes the responsibility as a mother to Cecil and she takes it seriously that result to break up with her boyfriend Bong (JC). Her protectiveness continue even their parents return to the country, she stops the growing relationship of Cecil to Edsel (Luis) who is an insurance agent she met in the mall where she works as a promo girl of magic sing. Hoping to change her sister’s mind, Cecil tracks down Bong and tried to work things out with her sister, and Rica takes it negatively. Cecil is now facing the dilemma of choosing between continuing her relationship with Edsel and working things out with her sister.
