Glee Season 2 Pilot Episode: New Faces and Big Revelations

Glee Season 2 opens with new adventures and new faces that your favorite Glee Club members of Mckinley High will meet. The usual cast is there on the pilot episode with additional faces like Charice who plays the role Sunshine Corazon, a Filipina exchange student who joins the team and everyone knows she will be a direct competitor of Rachel Berry in the group aside from the usual friction happening with Rachel, Kurt and Mercedes like season 1. Chord Overstreet will be also joining the team as Sam an athletic student who transfer to McKinley and will be Puck and Finn’s adversary in the TV series.

As for William Schuester and Sue Sylvester they will be facing the new “beast” who replaces their football coach Ken Tanaka, actually she looks like Ken and she’s name is Shannon Beiste who will be terrorizing both of them through out the season.

We always look for a big blast in a season kick off so here’s a spoiler of the songs they will be singing: Empire State of Mind, Telephone and Listen and Billionaire. Does it give you a ring? In my case as a Glee fan yes it does and I am excited on the 2nd season of Glee. Glee Season 2 will be shown in Star World, Jack TV and ETC here in the Philippines and owned by FOX.

Charice stars in Glee Season 2 as Sunshine Corazon

On September 21, Fox brings the Season 2 of the musical comedy series Glee and now including the Pinay singing sensation Charice as the Filipino exchange student in McKinley High known as Sunshine Corazon. She will be joining the New Directions the McKinley Glee Club which will be a big challenge/threat to Rachel Berry (Lea Michelle) who is the diva in the team.

Aside from Charice who plays Sunshine Corazon, singer/actor Chord Overstreet who will be doing the role of Sam Evans who is an athlete transferring to McKinley and started as a friend to Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) and later as a competitor. Sam will be the love interest of Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) and he will be reciprocating same affection of that the Glee Club member will be showing him.

As for Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) and Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) who are enemies in season 1 will become frenemies now that they will be meeting the “new beast” in the faculty who is the new football coach named Shannon Beiste played by Dot Jones who replaces Ken Tanaka (Patrick Gallagher), Schuester’s old bestfriend and the ex-boyfriend of Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays). Tanaka and Schuester’s friendship was broken after Ken discovered the brewing relationship of Will to his girlfriend Emma.

The New Directions will be trying their luck in their 2nd year of existence in McKinley High in National Competition now that is set in New York. Glee Season 2 also features Dianna Agron, Jessalyn Gilsig, Kevin McHale, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz. Glee Season 2 opens on September 21 in Fox and Star World.

NCIS Season 7 debuts with a big bang!

August 16, Fox International Channel brings the 7th Season of NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) with a roadblock in all Fox channels in the Philippines; Fox Channel (Shy Cable Channel 50), Star World, Fox Crime, FX and Channel V. The most anticipated action-packed suspense drama series recorded almost 20.6 million viewers as it opened in the United States and now getting more followers here in the Philippines.

NCIS Season 7 opened last night (9:30PM – Manila time) with its first episode entitled Truth or Consequence that follows Tony (Michael Weatherly) held captive in the Middle East in search for his comrade. He needs to trace back all the activities connecting to his conclusion that will save his imprisoned co-worker.

NCIS stars Mark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs), Michael Weatherly (Tony DiNozzo), Sean Murray (Timothy McGee), Cote de Pablo (Ziva David), David McCallum (Dr. Ducky Mallard), Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto) and Rocky Carroll (Leon Vance). The suspense action drama series tells the story of a Major Case Response Team (MCRT) at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. The MCRT investigates all crimes involving the United States Navy and Marine Corps.

NCIS Season 7 airs every Monday 10 p.m. on Fox Channel.
