Official Website of the Office of Philippine President finally opens

Almost 2 months in his position as the President of the Republic of the Philippines, Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III will be having his official website housed on http://president.gov.ph/ and no longer at the op.gov.ph. The website formally opens at 12 noon of August 16, 2010. The official website contains news and updates on the activities of Aquino, including his platforms, projects, cabinet secretaries, and contact information.

With the new communications department that Aquino created that will serve as the press office they will also handle feedbacks coming from emails, snail mails and social networks that is why social network icons is prominent on the website of the Office of the President such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Friendster and Multiply, it also has sharing option in all articles. There’s also a link going to Official Gazette, where it will contain press releases and will be distributing news letters via email.
