Celebrate Mother’s Day with World Food Programme ‘s eCard

May 8 is Mother’s Day, we honor women who accepts the role to be a mother biological or not to her family, friends, or community. In line with the Mother’s day celebration which everyone celebrates with expensive gifts, bouquet of flowers, hearty lunch or dinner in a five star restaurant and beautiful song and dance presentations, World Food Programme creates a simple yet meaningful way on how to share your love to your mother via an eCard (electronic greeting card). With this project Mother’s Day for us will be more meaningful because for every eCard purchase from WFP’s website http://gifts.wfp.org you are entitled to send donation to a group of mothers around the world; pregnant and new mothers who needs nutrition support for her and her children mostly in Haiti and India, mothers living with HIV/AIDS who needs support for nutrition and medical needs mostly in Kenya and Tanzania, support for mothers who are victim of domestic violence that will help them start a new life like in Afghanistan and mothers who are forced to choose between to feed themselves or their children in areas like in Congo and Haiti.

There are only three steps on making your Mother’s Day more meaningful with your mom, you can choose on four designs with particular beneficiaries you wanted to support, then send your donation, and lastly personalize your eCard and send it your mother.

Celebrate Mother’s Day with your mom and a mother whom you will be extending your love from a far. Happy Mother’s Day to all in advance!
