Making Mobile Internet more fun with Globe's Super Surf and Power Surf

Being a self-confessed social media addict and a blogger, mobile internet comes handy where I can check in with my Foursquare, update my Twitter timeline, read e-mails or event post blog entries with my BlogPress application. But before, it is hard to do those kind things because of the 3G/GPRS charging which was very costly even it is per minute. Finally, Globe responded to all the prayers of the mobile internet users where they can enjoy lower rates with Globe Super Surf and Globe Power Surf depending on their budget and lifestyle.

Samsung Galaxy Tab

Globe Power Surf enables mobile users like me to access internet for as low as P15/hour which is P5 less from the usual per minute charging (P5/15 minutes). To avail the service, all we need to do is to text POWERSURF15 and send it to 8888, there should be P1 minimum regular load to avail the service. While with POWERSURF30 (3 hours) and POWERSURF50 (5 hours), it helps mobile internet users to save more with P10/hour internet access and it requires at least P5 to avail the service. Globe Power Surf is open exclusively for Globe Prepaid users only.

For Globe Postpaid/Prepaid subscriber and Blackberry users, Globe Super Surf gives more edge to mobile internet users to enjoy unlimited access for 1 day for as low as P50. To avail this service just text SUPERSURF50 and send to 8888 for Globe postpaid users and for Blackberry users just text BB ON 50 and send to 8888 to avail unlimited one day internet access. Prepaid users can avail the service by texting Supersurf ON 50 and send to 8888. Globe Postpaid users they can also avail 5 days unlimited surfing with SUPERSURF220 (P220/5 days). But for prepaid users can avail up to 30 days unlimited surfing by texting SUPERSURF ON and send to 8888 same with Blackberry users by texting BB ON.

Making me choose among the two mobile internet promos, my personal choice is the Globe Super Surf, I can save more than P150 from the usual per minute charging of 3G/GPRS. I am one of those who access the net for almost 12-13 hours per day and more over the weekends and it will be a big savings especially I do most of the access with my mobile phone. That is why Globe Super Surf and Power Surf is a great relief for me.
