Bagong Pilipinas – Inaugural Theme Song of President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III

On June 30, President-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III and Vice President-elect Jejomar Binay will be taking their oath the President and Vice President of the Philippines at the Quirino Grandstand. Aside from the inauguration of Aquino and Binay one of the awaited personality in the historical events were the appearance of Noynoy’s sister Kris Aquino who recently publicized her marital problem with his cager husband James Yap where she mention in her interview at the Buzz that she is giving up on their marriage. Aside from Kris the rest of the Aquino sisters; Ballsy, Vhiel and Pinky will be attending the inauguration.

International Pinay Sensation Charice will be singing the Philippine National Anthem and the theme song for President-Elect Aquino’s inauguration will be sung by Jed Madela, Ogie Alcasid, Jim Paredes, Mae Paner (also known as Juana Change), Christian Bautista, Cabangon, Gary Valenciano, Nina and Regine Velasquez. The song was written by Ogie Alcasid and Noel Cabangon who were both commissioned by na inaugural committee, the singers will be backed up by the Madrigal Singers, 70’s Band, Symphony Orchestra and Kunderana.

There is no lyrics posted on yet on the internet about the Bagong Pilipinas, Aquino’s inaugural theme song. But the song will be included on Kris special album to be released soon in record bars. Alcasid is also the person behind Aquino's campaign song Hindi ka Nag-iisa. Here is the interview of Ogie Alcasid on TV Patrol World.
