Earthquake hits Chile again now with 7.2 Magnitude

Still on the process of rehabilitation from the 8.8 magnitude earthquake last February 27, Chile was shaken again by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in time of the inauguration of the new Chilean president, Dr Sebastián Piñera who succeeded Michelle Bachlet who two weeks ago appeals to her country men to be strong with the challenge that they are facing.

The 7.2 magnitude shakes the Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins, near the Chilean coast on the morning of March 11, few hours before the inaguartion of President Piñera. The epicenter of the earthquake was 71 miles from Valparasio, Chile the area where the inauguration is set to happen.

Unlike the February 27 earthquake there is no tsunami warning raised to the Pacific area.
