WWF & BFAR Offer Reward to Catch Batangas Whale Shark Poachers
After the incident that happen last February 15 in Batangas City where a Whale Shark was found mutilated and died the following day, the WWF-Philippines and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) offers P100,000 to any person who can provide information leading to the identification and arrest of the people involved in the mutilation and de-finning of the baby Tingloy (an 18-foot long whale shark found in the rough water of Bahay Kambing in Tingloy Batangas).
