The race is on for the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival

After the parade last December 24 mula sa SMX Mall of Asia hanggang sa Quirino Grandstand sa Luneta ay umpisa na ang labang ng seven local movies para sa The35th Metro Manila Film Festival sa pangunguna ni Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim, newly appointed Metropolitan Development Manila Authority (MMDA) Chairman Oscar Inocentes, Solar Entertainment President Wilson Tieng at newly appointed Optical Media Board (OMD) head Ronnie Ricketts. Ngayong taon kasama sa Metro Manila Film Festival ang mga movie na Darling Kong Aswang I Love You, Goodbye Nobody, Nobody But Juan, Ang Panday, Mano Po 6: A Mother's Love, Wapakman , Shake, Rattle and Roll XI.

Darling Kong Aswang
Vic Sotto, Cristine Reyes, Barbie Forteza, Mika dela Cruz, Ritchie D'Horsie and Wally, Directed by Tony Y Reyes and produced by APT Entetainment, M-Zet Productions and OctoArts Films

I Love You, Goodbye
Angelica Panganiban, Gabby Concepcion, Kim Chiu and Derek Ramsay, Directed by Laurice Guillen, produced by Star Cinema

Nobody, Nobody But Juan
Dolphy, Eddie Garcia, Ms. Gloria Romero, Pokwang, Eric Quizon, G Toengi, Heart Evangelista, Directed by Eric Quizon and produced by RVQ Prioduction, Jeo Aldeguer Productions and Kaizz Ventures.

Ang Panday

Mano Po 6: A Mother's Love
