Daniel Radcliffe ends his “Potter” journey in the Deadly Hallows finale

The end is near for a decade long journey of Daniel Radcliffe in taking the role of Harry Potter as the finale of the franchise will happen on July 14. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is the last movie that Radcliffe done for the film adaptation of famous wizard novels of J.K Rowling. With Rupert Grint who played the role of Ron Weasley and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, the three young adults will be closing this part of their lives where it touches millions of followers of Harry Potter. This film will be distributed by Warner Bros Pictures and available in 3D, IMAX 3D and regular format.

Here is a short interview of Daniel Radcliffe sharing his memories of playing the role of Harry Potter and what’s next for him after the phenomenal movie franchise.

Question: Has there been any crying since you all know the “Harry Potter” films are ending?

Daniel Radcliffe: There was lots of crying for Emma, Rupert and I, and the crew as well because a lot of them have been there for 10 years as well. So, there were lots of tears from everybody, really. It was very sad. And, at the time, I remember sort of being quite inconsolable for like two hours. And then four hours later I was on a plane and I was reading a script for another movie. So, we move on. [Laughs]

Rupert Grint talks about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2

In line with the finale of the Harry Potter franchise, Rupert Grints shares all the beautiful memories and what he will be missing in playing the role of Ron Weasley in the movie. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 will be showing in all cinemas worldwide beginning July 14. It will be available in IMAX, 3D and regular format and distributed by Warner Bros Pictures. The epic fantasy film was directed by David Yates and also starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Ralph Fiennes

Here is the short interview of Rupert Grint in relation with the finale of Harry Potter franchise and his future plans after the movie:

Question: Did the cast and crew do anything special on the last day of shooting? 

Rupert Grint: Yeah, they played a video. We did this thing called the Golden Board. Have to have Dan [Radcliffe] explain that, but it’s basically a big count-down. This film was like 260 days or something. Every day we had this board, like ‘day one,’ ‘day two’ and each time it would be a silly saying and stuff. They kind of edited all that together and it was just really nice to see that. It was actually quite emotional too.

The Epic Finale Begins: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 Review

 

On November 18, Harry Potter aficionados will be flocking the theater to see the part 1 of the two-part finale of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The 2nd part will be screened on July 2011. I was fortunate to see the movie before the regular screening and to be honest I was so fascinated on how it was adapted in the movie, the last HP movie I enjoyed was the Goblet of Fire. The movie was meticulously done by Warner Bros. Pictures and its director David Yates so that the film will cater to all ages that who fell in love with the J. K. Rowling masterpiece.

The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 follows the journey of Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) in search for the remaining horcruxes that holds the immortality of Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). Both tries to stop one another and fight for their survival, for Lord Voldemort to have the power to rule the world of wizardry and for Harry to avenge for his love ones. With Harry’s friend Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) they will do anything to end the reign of Lord Voldemort and his allies.

Unlike the early movies of Harry Potter this is one of the darkest series, it may be hard for the younger audience to understand. For others who read the book it was great to see how some scenes where executed along with the texture to bring more emotions in the film. The part 1 has 2 hours and 3 minutes total running time, and believe me when I say I didn’t feel how time flies while watching the movie and when it was cut, the same reaction I felt during the time of Lord of the Rings part 1 and 2, I am in denial to say that the film was cut on that part.

After seeing the movie last night (November 15), I can’t wait to see the part 2 that Warner Bros Pictures will be showing on July 2011. For those who will be watching the movie beginning Nov 18, do your bathroom break early and don’t bring a friend who enjoys chatting rather than watching the movie --- because every seconds and minute of the film is very important, I am saying that because I am a Harry Potter fan like others.

New Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Posters

In line with the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 on November 18, Warner Bros Pictures the distributor of the fantasy-magical movie released the latest banners of the 7th Harry Potter movie. The individual banner includes Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Lord Voldemort, Severus Snape, Bellatrix Lestrange and Fenrir Greyback. The film will be on 2D, opposite on the press release of Warners but it will be available on the IMAX Theater due to the reason that the 3D conversion will not make it on the release date of the part 1, but they assure that the part 2 that will be released on July 15, 2011 the film will be available on 3D format.. It is directed by David Yates.

The part 1 of the 7th sequel follows the quest of Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) to track down and destroy the Horcruxes, the objects that holds the immortality of Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). Now that Albus Dumbledore died, the three will fully rely to each other to fight the Dark Forces and stop Voldermort.

Producer David Heyman assures that the Harry Potter 7 will be exciting and magical. “For 10 years, we have worked alongside Alan Horn and the studio, whose priority has always been to preserve the integrity of Jo Rowling’s books as we have adapted them to the screen, and this decision reflects that commitment.” Heyman ended.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 will be shown in all cinemas nationwide on November 18, 2010, and the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 that will be both on 3D and regular format will hit the cinema on July 15, 2011.
