Aside from the fun and enjoyment that America in 3D offers there will be a live question and answer opportunity with Fil-Am White House Executive Chef Cristeta Comerford and discussion about how to apply visa and study and work opportunity in US. There will be also job fairs from different agencies and companies here in the Philippines that support US Embassy in their campaign.
Here’s the complete event that everyone should expect from March 18-20:
• Digital Video Conference with Fil-Am White House Executive Chef Cristeta Comerford
• 3 live cooking demonstrations
• 10 food tastings by American food companies
• 9 musical and dance programs
• 5 large, technologically interactive exhibits to deepen understanding of the United States through direct contact with Embassy staff
• 33 American companies participating in a job fair with over 6,600 available jobs
• 6 programs promoting higher education in the United States to up to 500 youth
• 6 basketball clinics for 600 youth
• 2 baseball clinics for 200 youth
• A car show with 3 modern and vintage Chevrolets
• 4 programs addressing visa questions
• 6 film showings and discussions
• A Medical Civic Affairs Program coordinated by the Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines with the Philippine National Police
• A youth outreach event at a children’s hospital
• A green screen photo booth that will superimpose people onto American landmarks and will be made accessible on the Embassy’s Facebook page and Flickr account.
