The Bank of the Philippine Island or commonly called BPI is now including McDonalds Philippines in their growing list of partners for their BPI-i.Can Mobile Mall. The BPI-i.Can Mobile Mall is one of the projects for mobile banking where it gives them their clients the option to use their mobile phones to do transactions with BPI partners without the use of physical money.
The partnership with McDonalds gives their client to order food for delivery through their mobile phones and pay it with their BPI account. It is the same with the usual McDelivery system it doesn’t require number of purchase only P40 for delivery charge. The process is simple just download the BPI-i.Can application of mobile phone which is currently available for Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and Blackberry while for Android and iPhone the applet will be available on the second phase. Using GPRS or Wi-Fi, they can access the application and start ordering through their mobile phones. Clients should key in all the information needed before he or she can start ordering from McDonalds.

French Fries, Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Cheeseburger, Chicken McNuggets to Chicken McDo, McSpaghetti and Hot Fudge Sundae.
According to Teresita Tan, Executive Vice President and and Head of Overseas Bankingand Channels Services Group of BPI, she says that BPI follows the trend of technology especially with the mobile which is handy and convenient to the majority of their clients. “Now they can have andpay for their favorite McDonald’s through their mobile phones as BPI brings McDelivery in ourMobile Mall,” she said.
For McDonalds it is another step in getting closer to their clients who were tech savvy which part of that market was captured by their McDelivery website. “For 30 years, McDonald’s has been committed in providing Filipinos with great-tasting affordable meals and excellent service. This 2011, McDonald’s once again strengthens this commitment to provide efficient and convenient service with another first- fast-food delivery through mobile. Partnering with BPI and i.Can to bring the first cashless mobile-based delivery, will surely provide our customers with their favorite McDonald’s meals, anytime, anywhere, “says Margot Torres, McDonald’s Vice President for Marketing and Communications.
The Mobile Mall is available for McDelivery transactions or delivery addresses in Metro Manila and key cities nationwide such as Cavite, Laguna, Lipa, Tarlac, Cebu, and Davao. To download the applet, clients should visit the website www.mybpimag.com. Aside from McDonalds, the mobile mall of BPI-i.Can also includes merchants like Ayala Malls Cinemas, Philips, MemoXpress, Power Mac Center, Rustan’s Department Store, Stores Specialists, Inc., and Shopwise.
