Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy officially gives his support to LAKAS KAMPI CMD Gilbert Teodoro and Liberal Party Mar Roxas as the candidates earning their vote for the 2010 election on May 10.The said proclamation happened in the community of KJC in Davao City during the Thanksgiving and Worship Presentation of the religious group. Teodoro is thankful on the good news given to him by Pastor Quiboloy after ranking as 4th place in the Social Weather Station and Pulse Asia Survey.
Pastor Quiboloy sees Teodoro as person with a heart and impressive credentials that is worthy to be the next president of the country. As early as February presidential and vice presidential candidates flocked to KJC and other religious groups asking for support from its leaders that has great influence in their followers. Bro Eddie Villanueva, a presidential candidate came from Jesus is Lord (JIL) Movement, same religious group like Pastor Quiboloy. Aside from KJC one of the most influential religious group that can change the political climate in the Philippines is the Iglesia ni Cristo where early next week will be announcing their candidate whom they will be giving their bloc vote.
