Globe one of the leading telecommunication in the country finally joins the WWF-Philippines Corporate Club in fulfilling their advocacy in protecting the environment. As new member of the WWF’s Exclusive Corporate Club, Globe will be supporting the organization’s programs in preserving biodiversity in managing its operational footprints through the promotion of sustainable practices.Globe President and Chief Executive Officer Ernest Cu with WWF-Philippines CEO Jose Ma. Lorenzo Tan sealed their partnership by leaving their hand prints at the Globe Environmental Sustainability Policy. “We wish to play a part in taking steps to address our key environmental issues. Globe aligns its present actions and decisions with its vision of having a healthy planet for the next generation,” Cu proudly says as Globe takes its advocacy on environmental concerns to a stronger commitment to sustainable development.
WWF launched its Corporate Club to give opportunities to corporations and companies to involve themselves in a cutting-edge conservations and sustainability initiatives. Through this, companies can help by providing funds on relevant environmental issues and contribute on creating environmental awareness across all sectors and platforms like in telecommunication where Globe is part of it.
