Movie Review: Due Date

It is hilarious and fun, that is how I’ll be describing Due Date that stars Robert Downey, Jr., Zach Galifianakis and Jamie Foxx. The comedy film is directed by Todd Phillips and will be shown in all cinemas nationwide beginning November 5. Due Date is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

The movie follows the story of Peter Highman (Downey) who is an expecting father and needs to travel across the country to be with his wife and future child. On the way he meets an aspiring actor named Ethan Tremblay (Galifianakis) who wanted to go to Hollywood to fulfill his promise on his deceased father who was cremated and placed in a coffee can. Ethan travels with his bulldog Sunny. Two different people ended up together in a wildest road trip they will encounter in their lives.

In terms of the fun I am referring on my first paragraph I am giving it all to Zach Galifianakis who has no set backs in doing all the weirdest and wildest things that everyone can imagine on a road trip with someone who really his opposite. Honestly the film is crazy and I love it, something to watch just to have a good time with friends and for laugh trip. The film doesn’t have complicated stuff, the story is simple and it only relies on the execution of the characters especially Galifianakis and Downey.

Due Date will be available in all cinemas nationwide beginning November 5, 2010 and it is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
