Unboxing Nokia N8: Specs and Features

This is my first time to unbox a Nokia product in my blog, yes it is very exciting to share my thoughts about the latest N8 knowing that it is one of the hottest mobile products in the market and it sold around P20, 000 here in the Philippines. Unlike other Nokia packaging, Nokia N8 has a smaller and compact package even it contains so many accessories including the phone inside it. Maybe it is one of Nokia’s campaigns as an environmental friendly product in the mobile market.

Let’s go now into details, Nokia always known by its unique packaging, this time the N8 box is blue, I have my E63 in a white gray packaging. So what's inside the box of one the most coveted phones in the market:
  • NNokia N8 mobile computer
  • Nokia Battery BL-4D

All the things needed for the full functionality of Nokia N8 is inside the box, from the charger, usb cable connector, quick guide, and stereo headphones. Being a person who wanted to sync most of my files in my phone to my laptop, Nokia has a PC Suite features to make syncing of files faster and easy storage on my hard disk. Files that can be transferred from mobile to laptop via Nokia PC Suite includes; contacts, music, videos, photos and document files created from the Quick Office application. PC Suite can also connect your laptop to internet with the use of the phones 3G connection (varies in mobile network).

Nokia N8 unit comes in Dark Grey, Silver White, Green, Blue, Orange, Pink color which fits in all personality, with an anodized aluminum casing making it more sophisticated and stylish compare the usual plastic casing. It is scratch free and I love the emboss Nokia N Series at the back.

It has a 3.5 inches AMOLED (640 x 360 pixels) touch screen, images and graphics are crispier and sharp because of the 16.7 million colors in it. With that kind of features watching videos, taking pictures and even playing mobile games in both 3D and 2D format will be fun now that is has dedicated processor for 2D/3D graphics acceleration.

i have the orange N8. The battery life is OK compared to other smart phones in the market. The camera is very good. You're right, no need to get a digital camera because N8 can shoot pictures beautifully. What i dislike about N8 is it's slippery casing. I had mine dropped and had dents on the sides. Its best to put jelly case on your N8 to protect it from scratches and dents. Too bad Nokia doesnt cover dents and scratches.
