Movie Review: Vampires Suck

For those who wants feel good movie, better check out 20th Century Fox’s Vampire Suck which is now showing in all cinemas nationwide. The parody film of the famous Twilight Saga of Summit Entertainment is directed and written by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer the same brilliant minds that did Date Movie, Scary Movie and Meet the Spartans. The film is co-distributed by Warner Bros Pictures and stars Jenn Proske, Matt Lanter, Chris Riggi and Ken Jeong.

The spoof movie follows Becca (Proske) who moves in Fork to be with her dad and meet Edward Sullen (Lanter), a vampire and Jacob (Riggi), a werewolf. Like in the original movie, Becca gains attraction to Edward but her exposure to the Sullens makes her vulnerable to blood thirsty vampires. Aside from Edward, there’s Jacob who is always there to protect her, and Becca must choose between the two of them.
For a parody movie like Vampires Suck, don’t expect more on the storyline and technicalities but just enjoy how punch lines were delivered. The films will surely gives their viewers a good laugh that they are looking on the movie.
